The Guam Power Authority advises that a
power outage is scheduled as follows:
Wednesday, November 3, 2021
From 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. (6 hours)
The area(s) affected include: Santa Rita: All customers on Bishop Felixberto Street, Bishop Apuron Street, Dorothy M. Calvo Street and customers in the surrounding area.
Additionally, there will be two brief interruptions of power at 9:00 a.m. and again at 3:00 p.m.
The area(s) affected include: all customers between the Apra Substation to
Bishop Felixberto C. Flores Street, Santa Rita, and to include Jose S.N. Santos
Street, Apra Vista Road, J. Kindo Road, Felix T. Dydasco Court, Juan M. Cruz
Drive, Buena Vista, Race Way Drive, Joaquin Diaz Drive, Arriola Street, Vincent
S. Borja Drive and the Iglesia Ni Cristo Church
REASON: GPA crews will be performing maintenance work on power lines and pole-top hardware(s), as well as changing out power poles and conducting vegetation trimming to improve power quality and reliability
Customers using backup generators, please ensure your main breaker is in the OPEN position to ensure the safety of the GPA crews working on the lines.
GPA regrets the inconvenience caused to customers in these areas, but the outage is necessary as a safety precaution while the GPA crews are performing this work.
