Scheduled Outage Notice for: Talofofo-Yona Area, 15 July 2021

The Guam Power Authority advises that a power outage is scheduled as follows:
 
Thursday, 15 July 2021
From 08:30 AM to 2:30 PM (6 hours)
 
The area(s) affected include:  Talofofo/Yona: all customers on the east side of Route 4A from the GPA Talofofo Substation to the intersection of Route 4A and Cross Island Road.
 
In addition, there will be a brief interruption of power at 2:30 PM. Customers affected by the thirty (30) minute outage interruption include:
 
Location:  Yona:  customers from the intersection of Route 4 and Cross Island Road to the intersection of Route 4A and Cross Island Road.
 
REASON:  GPA crews will be trimming vegetation and replacing pole top hardware to improve power quality and reliability.
 
Customers using backup generators, please ensure your main breaker is in the OPEN position to ensure the safety of the GPA crews working on the lines.
 
GPA regrets the inconvenience caused to customers in these areas, but the outage is necessary as a safety precaution while the GPA crews are performing this work.
