GPA ANNOUNCES SCHEDULED POWER OUTAGE – Tumon Area

The Guam Power Authority advises that a power outage is scheduled as follows:

Wednesday, 27 January 2021
From: 8:30 AM – 12:30 PM (4 hours)

 
The area(s) affected include:  Tumon – Outback Steak House, Guam Plaza Hotel, Capital Hill, RC Tours, Pia Hotel, Club USA Building and customers within the surrounding areas in Chichirica Lane, Rivera Lane and Bisita Lane.
 

REASON: GPA crews will be performing maintenance work on new underground power lines to improve power quality.
 
Customers using backup generators, please ensure your main breaker is in the OPEN position to ensure the safety of the GPA crews working on the lines.
 
GPA regrets the inconvenience caused to customers in these areas, but the outage is necessary as a safety precaution while the GPA crews are performing this work.
